Environmental Stewardship Award
Roche Diagnostics was the sole recipient in a 13-state region to receive the 2007 "Environmental Stewardship" Award from Veolia Environmental Services. Veolia, the largest environmental service company in the world, presents the award to U.S. Veolia customers who demonstrate exceptional commitment to environmental stewardship through programs, policies and procedures that help protect the environment and go above and beyond that of a simple recycling program.

The 2007 MICCS Excellence in Safety Leader: Owner Category
Roche Diagnostics recevied the "Safety Leader" Award from the MICCS (Metro Coalition for Construction Safety). The “Safety Leader” Awards were given to companies that were deemed to have the most outstanding construction safety program and record within their category. Every company who participated in the “Excellence in Safety” Awards program competed with their peers in one of eight categories.

Partnership for Innovative Energy
Citizens Gas in conjunction with the Energy Solutions Center presented Roche Diagnostics with the "Partnership for Innovative Energy Solutions" Award for our use of natural gas cooling. As part of the Roche Group Directive, 265 tons of cooling capacity have been installed on the Indianapolis campus utiltizing natural gas as the energy source in lieu of traditional refrigerant systems.

Roche Diagnostics Wins Indianapolis Mayor's Celebration of Diversity Award in Leadership
(Indianapolis, Indiana, January 25, 2006) Indianapolis Mayor Bart Peterson presented Roche Diagnostics with the Mayor’s Celebration of Diversity Award in the Leadership category at the fifth annual awards luncheon at the Westin Hotel downtown. In accepting the award for Roche Diagnostics, Patti Ayars, Sr. Vice President, Human Resources and Communications, said, “We are honored to receive this award on behalf of the people at Roche Diagnostics, for this is encouragement that we are on the right track, and provides inspiration for us to take it to the next level.”

The awards recognize businesses and organizations that embrace, celebrate and apply holistic inclusion and participation of a diverse people whereby the workplace is a better environment in which to work and the community a better place in which to live, work and raise a family.
